Video Production
A selection of work produced whilst at the University of Huddersfield
My Media and Popular Culture BA course has broadened my horizons and granted me the opportunity to get hands on with high quality camera equipment, allowing a hobbyist passion to develop into practical production knowledge.

During my first two years at university I made two short films, 5 minutes and 10 minutes long respectively, for two credited Documentary modules. I was encouraged to travel to locations, arrange interviews, use the camera, lighting and audio equipment and then edit the final films. My skills greatly increased during the second year of the module, which I was then able to carry forward into a work placement as a production assistant for Soap School. In this position I dressed the set, rigged cameras and lighting, made accessibility adjustments to the set and overall streamlined production.
